Tutors
help students one-to-one with homework and with conversation skills.
Tutors meet with students before or after classes. These hours are
between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm.
Teaching Assistants
work under the guidance of the instructor.
Teaching Assistants work with individuals or small groups during class
time.
Job Mentors
help students succeed in their job search.
They provide encouragement, practical know-how, and industry
specific advice.
Board Committee members
support the work of the Center through marketing,
planning events, extending community connections and outreach.
Requirements for Tutors, Teaching Assistants, and Mentors:
Age 18 or older
High school graduate
Great attitude
Very encouraging to students!
